Gary L. Gilcrease, MD is a third generation native of the Hill Country. Raised in San Marcos, he chose to return to his roots to open his own family practice here in the Buda-Kyle area.

Gary L. Gilcrease, MD holds a Bachelors’ Degrees in both Music and Chemistry from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. After receiving his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, he completed his Family Practice residency at University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Gary L. Gilcrease, MD is Board Certified in Family Practice and carries staff privileges at Seton Main, Seton Southwest, Seton Hays, and St. Davids hospitals. He is a current member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Medical Association, and Travis County Medical Society. During his third year of residency, he received additional training in the areas of dermatology and sports medicine.
